Cliffs at Big Sur, Plein Air Seascape Painting by Theresa Paden

Plein Air Seascape Painting
"Cliffs at Big Sur"
By Theresa Paden

7 x 5"
Acrylic on canvas board

The mountains and ocean at Big Sur are stunningly beautiful.
The cliffs have beautiful green grass growing on them
and the sea is so blue!  By the time I finished this painting
I was pretty much frozen solid (for a southern Californian who isn't
used to the "cold").  I know those of you who live in truly
cold weather are shaking your heads right now!

Across the street from our hotel in Cambria is Moonstone Beach.
Here are some photos of an otter who was lying on his back in the water, busily
cracking open clams on a rock that he had placed on his belly.
