  4. Your animal paintings get better and better every time I look! And of course, your colors are great. Love the picture of your daughter, I get that sentiment about time! My sons are 24 and 28, one is living across the country, the other is moving to Europe. When they were little, I had a famous quote on our refrigerator, "the greatest gifts we can give our children, one is roots, the other wings"! Not sure I am happy I let them have such big wings!! Enjoy your 18 year old!!

    1. Thank you so much, Mary Anne! I keep thinking I will paint other things beside animals, but I just love painting animals, LOL! I love that quote that you had on your fridge . . . it says it all! We raise them the best we can and then we just have to let go and hope they remember all we have taught them :) Thank you for your lovely comments, I do appreciate it!

  5. Awesome eye popping color on this one, Theresa! Especially the lavendar face... which under normal circumstances maybe one might think it not the best against orange--but it's spectacular!! Congratulations on the sale.

    1. Thank you Diane! It's hard to ignore all the color theory I learned at Art Center, but I try not to listen to it, and just paint from my heart :) Glad you like the results!
