Horse Drawing in White Charcoal by Theresa Paden

White Charcoal Horse Drawing
"Her Blue Eye"
By Theresa Paden

12 x 9"
White charcoal on gray Canson paper

This is my horse, Mountain Music (we call her Music).
She's a Missouri Fox Trotter with one blue eye and one brown.
Music has such a smooth gait and is so fun to ride. Having been
abused by a previous owner who would twist her ears, she is
quite head shy. Because of that, it takes a little more time to bridle
her, but she is well worth it. She has a favorite place on her
neck that she loves to have scratched and she makes
the funniest faces when I scratch her there!

    1. You're so funny Hilda, you made me laugh out loud! :) Actually, I would like to twist that guy's ears, too!! Some people just don't understand that there are kind ways to train animals.

  2. My Arabian/Quarter Horse cross oddly enough can foxtrot. He doesn't do it often, but it's a wonderful gait.
