On January 11, at 78 years old, my beautiful mother passed peacefully from this life into the next, surrounded by her family and with me holding her hand. I miss her terribly, but am comforted by all of the wonderful memories of times we shared together. She was an amazing artist, pioneering career woman of the sixties, loving grandmother and the best mother anyone could have. I was so lucky to have her. In the photos below, she is seen in her '57 Corvette, which she drag raced when she was pregnant with me! She was strong, fun, smart, and adventurous. Rest in peace, Mom, you will always live in my heart.
